This 2022-27 accessibility plan outlines the policies and actions that will be in place to improve opportunities for people with disabilities.
Statement of Commitment
Bethany Lodge is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration and equal opportunity. We are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner and will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility and meeting accessibility requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005

Employment Standards Bethany Lodge is committed to fair and accessible employment practices. | Recruitment, Assessment, and Selection: Bethany Lodge will take the following steps to notify the public and staff that, when requested, we will accommodate people with disabilities during the recruitment, assessment, and selection processes. • Accommodation notices will be included as part of the recruitment process (scheduling of interview, assessment process, location of interview) • If an applicant requests an accommodation, Bethany Lodge will consult with the applicant and arrange for the provision of a suitable accommodation. We have not received any inquiries so far, but if we do we will be practicing moving forward. • Accommodation reference will be added to employment letters where applicable. • If an offer is made to an applicant, an individual accommodation plan may be created where necessary.
